This video, released by Corrinne May last Christmas, is like a cup of hot choc to the soul. Well, at least that's what I think. I particularly love the last stanza of the song. :)
I also want to sing songs in the cozy setting of a cafe. :)
[Ok this is so cool....less than 2 hrs after I wrote the above comment, my fren, who is a chef with her own business, just told me, "hey if i set up my own cafe, you come and sing lah!" And she had no idea that I just blogged about the very same thing. :) Ooohh!]
"What can I give Him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wise man
I would do my part,
Yet what I can I give Him,
Give my heart."
- 'In the Bleak Midwinter" by Christina Rossetti, 1872.
