You know that life is getting a tad too hectic and fast-paced in Singapore when you get seriously annoyed that it's going to be an 8min wait for your MRT to arrive (you know from those boards that 'count down' for you). Don't all of us go "Crap! So long ah?" whenever it happens to us?
The thing is...an 8 min wait in another country, like say Australia, would be met with sighs of relief and gratefulness.
