"If You want me to"

If You want me to (by Ginny Owens)
============================
The pathway is broken
And the signs are unclear
And I don't know the reason why You brought me here
But just because You love me the way that You do
I'm gonna walk through the valley
If You want me to

No I'm not who I was
When I took my first step
And I'm clinging to the promise You're not through with me yet
So if all of these trials bring me closer to You
Then I will go through the fire
If You want me to

I've probably posted this song many times.....but somehow I keep coming back to it.
If I ever had a soundtrack for my life, this song would definitely be the 1st track on it.
It's also a song that binds May, Rie and me together.....May stumbled upon it when she watched "Felicity," during our JC days, and introduced it to us. I still remember crying on my hotel bed in Langkawi as I listened to it.....that was around 2000 I think. Yupz, this song has seen me through many tough times.

I keep making the same ol' mistakes,
I keep straying away from Him, doubting Him.
But He's always there to to lift me up when I fall,
to pick up the pieces of my broken heart,
to fix my broken life.

I don't understand how One so beautiful,
could love me so passionately,
and be so utterly committed to the growth of my tragically flawed character.
But He is.

So yeah, I'll go through the fire, if He wants me to.

I just posted it on multiply for you. Enjoy! :) I don't have the mp3 for Brooke Fraser's "Give me Jesus" though. That one is so beautiful rite?
