Be Still

This is posted at Audrey's request. She asked me this qn last week or so, "what does it mean to be still and know that He is God?" (ref. Psalm 46) An excellent qn...at a Psalm we often read, but often gloss over. This was Daryl's eloquent and moving interpretation of that famous bible verse:

"I think it has to do with an inner state of reverence and awe ...
Like when a King or Ruler comes in your presence ...
You keep quiet ...
You listen to him ...
You don't fidget and get restless
You wait on him
Context is about the awesome power of God
So God is saying ...
"Hey Man ....
Look at my power ...
Where my power is ....
you need not fear ...I am your strength n power."

I am blown away by the strength and the tenderness of our God. :)
