"Try To Catch The Deluge In A Paper Cup"

Music is my relief.
Forgive me for my emo shit....but when life is sucky,

and all messed up beyond belief,
when I discover I'm not really sure who my friends are,
when people twist my words and misunderstand me,
when family members only make things worse,
I think I should be entitled to some 'bleah-ing'.

Thank God for the music man....
It's a good time for writing poems too, great form of release for me.
BLEAH!!!! (which isn't very articulate ironically)
I want to watch Jennifer Garner kick-ass on ALIAS!!!!
(Ok, that was just me being totally random.)

Anyway, this song is for Audrey....."YEAH, GIRLFRIEND!!!!"
She may be on another continent, but we sure are walking together.
"Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup" indeed.
Sometimes the most familiar of songs, just HITS YOU...
When the timing is right.

Don't Dream It's Over (Crowded House)
=================================
There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page
Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief
